It's after two in the morning, and I need to get up at 5:30, so this will be brief. I just wanted to state for the record that though things have been terrible this week, there has been a respite today (well, technically, "yesterday").
I stayed home because a garage door repairman was coming, so I spent the morning away from the office. I went to class, which is a joy this semester. I worked (hard) for a few hours. I went out to eat with friends and then to the Union/Jenks football game (big in-town rivalry). We (Union) lost, but it was still fun, though I found myself annoyed by this guy with a gigantic afro whose hair kept blocking my view of the field.
And I've been working again for the last several hours: lab rosters finished. First day of ePort labs is tomorrow. May God grant us strength. (Tiring as they are, though, I enjoy ePort lab days. Any stress is connected to being busy...or the C&W server going down, God forbid...and not to mean people creating office tension. I will be surrounded by nice people all day, and I can't wait!)
Sleep now. Later!

Dear Jana,
Just got around to reading your last several posts. Taken serially, they paint quite a lugubrious picture! I suspect adequate rest will help you regroup, but sigh, fact is, some people are difficult regardless of perspective. (Weren't you the person who reminded my daughter not to pull all-nighters at grad school?)
Technically, three hours of sleep does not an all-nighter make. :)
As for the rest, I'm really not sure what I'm going to do. It has been a particularly horrendous week. For the time being, I'm trying to rest, regroup, and consider my options for the future without doing anything rash in the meantime.
You? Up at 5:30? Are you feeling yourself? ;)
I know, crazy, isn't it? Insane that I would have to be up earlier on a Saturday than on a regular weekday, but that's how ePortfolio lab days go. Believe me, the decision to be up at 5:30 was out of necessity rather than desire.
