On Healthy Choices

I ran into one of my classmates a few minutes ago, this dreary Spring Break Thursday morning. After deciding that neither of us had any idea when the Psalms paper was due, I got my raspberry mocha and chocolate chip muffin.

"Breakfast of champions?" he asked. "That doesn't look like a very healthy choice."

"Absolutely," I replied. "But really, when you think of it, it's a whole lot better than the alternative. I could have gotten Combos and Mountain Dew from the Bookstore. But I didn't. This way...I got milk."

I love rationalizing my poor dietary choices. :)

This is one of the many reasons that I am proud to call you my friend!

Jai, I have to agree with your classmate. A healthy breakfast is a great way to kickstart the day.

So, I shouldn't have combos and Mountain Dew for breakfast? I've been operating under a misconception for ten years, if that's true...

My personal philosophy is that any breakfast is better than no breakfast. So I say, eat your combos and Mt. Dew to your heart's content!
