Me again, with thoughts unrelated to meat. :)
In my proctrastinatory way, I am hunting for my "lost" (but not lost) Discover card when I should be finishing my Pneumatology reading. It was a new one to replace the one that expired, and I had it at the time of the move (yes, this summer), and I'm pretty sure I put it someplace where I knew I wouldn't lose it...which, of course, means I lost it and can't think of anyplace where it could be. But I don't want to report it because they'll make me change my account number and all that, and it's definitely not out in the wrong hands. There haven't been any un-Jana purchases. It's just that now my old one is expired and I don't have a replacement, and it's not really that big of a deal, but it bothers me because I can't figure out what I did with it. I don't lose things. This is very perplexing.
This pursuit has not been without its discoveries, however. I found several items I wasn't looking for along the way:
-1-cent stamps
-Ivanhoe comic book
-my birth certificate and immunization records
-health insurance paperwork from two years ago that I never even opened
-my OT Survey textbook from freshman year
-pictures of the monastery field trip last spring
But no Discover card. If, perchance, I told any of you where I was putting it before the move, or if you have a brilliant idea of where I can look, please let me know.
Hey, Heidi, this one's for you: "Where'd I put that thing?" Ah, dorm life. :)
