What do you do when you're not the slightest bit tired but you've got a Hebrew quiz at 8 o'clock in the morning and you know you'll be required to actually think at an hour when your body (not to mention, your mind) belongs in bed?
You play on the computer. I almost feel as though I'm outside myself right now, somewhere on the ceiling of my room, looking down at some silly girl typing on her laptop when she should be reviewing the Piel perfect and Qal imperfect conjugation patterns. She's writing in her blog and ripping music to her hard drive, listening to Patty Griffin (loving the song "When It Don't Come Easy"). She knows the morning is going to come as an awful jolt, but she remains awake nonetheless.
Ask me tomorrow how I am. If I don't bite your head off, I'll smile weakly and say, "I'm tired," in an attempt to gain your sympathy.
But it's entirely my own fault.

Serves you right, night-owl! :)
Okay, so I got to bed at three, myself...
Jai,
you have my deepest sympathy. This is coming from someone who has to be at work at 7 am three days a week, and still won't go to bed before midnight the first two nights. I've very foggy on Sundays. It makes working with me a lot more fun.
