Yes, my friends, I have succumbed to the call of the lemon bar.... They're so good. It's hard not to have one when you're sitting in a coffee shop, not in the office, living the good life (even though you're still working).
This brings me to my main point. I love my co-workers, and I love being able to help students with their ePort issues (well, sometimes), but I think life would be perfect if I were able to work remotely rather than in an office. Setting my own hours, becoming a coffee-shop junkie, doing all my work without interruptions unless I choose to allow those interruptions to occur.
It's just a very beautiful thought. With the extra bonus of lemon bars any day of the week.

Okay, I can't vouch for Lemon Bars, because I don't like most lemon-flavored desserts, but I do think it would be wonderful to be able to sit in the coffeehouse all day and work remotely. Furthermore, if you and I would ever just start that writing career we both need to start, we could sit at Bona all day long writing novels and blogging! How fun would that be!!??!!
